Takoma DC Store

Our Blue Lotus Treasures brick-and-mortar store is conveniently located in Takoma DC across the street from the Takoma Metro Red Line Station. We are in the beautiful Elevation 314 apartment building designed by DC architecht, Russell Katz. Mr. Katz specializes in green developments and everything about Elevation 314 - the material for the floors (bamboo) and windows (fiberglass), storm-water management (on site) and courtyard plantings (grasses, mosses, wildflowers) -- is renewable, recycled, eco-engineered or native. And Elevation 314 is the first commercial building in DC to have a "green roof." For more information about the building, the apartments, and Mr. Katz, visit the Elevation 314 website.
Blue Lotus Treasures is dedicated to protecting Mother Earth; our store is completely wind-powered, the temperature is controlled by a geothermal HVAC system, we only use energy efficient bulbs and all of our paper products are made with recycled materials. Additionally, all of our vendors and suppliers use recycled paper and recyclable packing materials.
