"The Glass Eye Studio was founded on the belief that talented glass artists should have a place to work where their skills and creativity are fully appreciated. Today the work of our artists is sought after by collectors around the world. We use a variety of materials when blowing glass, from recycled bottles, to find gold, to our signature ingredient, ash from the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens. Whether you have been collecting our work for many years or this is your first piece of art glass, we are confident that you will enjoy your selection from The Glass Eye Studio.

The Glass Eye Studio's artistic process is steeped in the beauty and mystery of glass from start to finish. We begin by applying immense heat to a mixture of sand to create molten glass. Each individual piece starts as a precise amount of glass on the end of a blowpipe of rod. The piece takes shape as the artist manipulates the glass with light, but precise, touches. After a quick fire-polish, the piece is brought to room temperature slowly, over a period of days."  Source:  Glass Eye Studio.
